The Right to Development is a contentious issue that raises questions about justice and equality. Supporters believe development should be a fundamental human right, giving everyone access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities. Critics, however, argue that the concept is vague and difficult to implement. Join us in a conversation about this issue.

This program is organized in partnership with The Center for Research in Politics and Human Rights (PHR) at Sophia University Institute (Italy), and Observatorio de Derechos Humanos at the University of Valladolid (Spain)

The Institute on Religion, Law & Lawyer’s Work aims to help practicing lawyers and law students in their efforts to live integrated lives of faith in the context of the challenges of legal practice, and to promote dialogue on issues related to religion and law. It sponsors national and local inter-faith conferences, lectures and programs on religion, spirituality and legal practice.
