Rebecca Dresser (Daniel Noyes Kirby Professor of Law, and School of Medicine, Washington University, Saint Louis) is an expert in biomedical ethics, and teaches medical and law students about legal and ethical issues in end-of-life care, biomedical research, genetics, assisted reproduction, regulation of medical products and related topics. Her latest book, Silent Partners: Human Subjects and Research Ethics, gives voice to those who know what it is like to be a research subject.
