The event’s speaker, Karen Ignagni, is the president and CEO of EmblemHealth, and former president and CEO of America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP). Ms. Ignagni also directed the AFL-CIO’s Department of Employee Benefits. She was a Professional Staff Member on the US Senate Labor and Human Resources Committee and worked at the US Department of Heath and Human Services.
